Getting in proper nutrition, whether your goal is to build muscle or lose fat is critical to having success. If you aren’t taking in enough calories and the right type of macronutrient split – dietary fat, carbohydrates, and protein, you aren’t going to see the best results from your gym sessions.
Many times, when you’re in a rush, a good option to turn to is a healthy smoothie, created from a mix of protein powder, fresh or frozen fruits, yogurt, milk, raw oatmeal, peanut butter, and in some cases, frozen yogurt (depending on calorie intake and program goals).
There are so many different smoothie recipes out there to choose from that you’d be hard pressed not to find one that you enjoy.
